Board of Directors

President
  • Chairs the Board of Directors and HOA meetings.
  • Directs the establishment of the Board’s yearly goals and objectives.
  • Handles inquiries from people outside of the HOA.
Vice President
  • Works with the ACC Committee to ensure actions align with HOA policy.
  • Serves in special assignments/projects for the Board of Directors.
  • Serves as backup for the President.
Secretary
  • Records/publishes minutes of Board of Directors meetings.
  • Records minutes of HOA annual meetings.
  • Skills required: computer word processing.
Treasurer
  • Keeps record of HOA transactions and reconciles with bank accounts using Quicken..
  • Approves one-time HOA bills for payment. Recurring payments are auto-pay.
  • Generates and mails annual invoices.
  • Deposits annual HOA assessment checks.
  • Picks up mail from post office weekly.
Landscape/Hardscape
  • Duties include general awareness of landscape condition and monitoring work of the contracted landscape company.
  • Attends HOA meetings and Board of Directors meetings.
  • Skills required: communications with landscape company, awareness of changes in the state of the landscape
  • A sense of aesthetics would be good.
